The AGM Taipan V2 15-256 Thermal Monocular is a lightweight, compact thermal imaging solution designed for hunters, landowners, and outdoor enthusiasts who need dependable thermal detection at an accessible price point. Equipped with a 256×192, 12-micron thermal sensor and sub-35mK NETD sensitivity, it provides clear heat signature detection in complete darkness, adverse weather, and challenging terrain.
Its 15mm objective lens delivers an extra-wide field of view, making it ideal for scanning large areas, tracking movement, and maintaining situational awareness. The Taipan V2 platform features significant upgrades, including a removable rechargeable 18650 battery for extended runtime and a 90° tilt sensor that automatically powers off the display when not in use to help conserve battery life.
Additional features include a fast 50Hz refresh rate, F1.0 objective lens, a crisp 1280×960 LCOS display, 16GB of onboard storage, Wi-Fi connectivity through the AGM Connect App, USB-C external power capability, four color palettes, and an IP67 waterproof rating.
